Jay West has been consistently releasing House records for the most part of the last decade. He is one of the most respected underground house names coming out of South America. This established DJ and producer has been also touring and playing the most important clubs and festivals around in more than 40 countries all over the world.

With more than a hundred tracks and remixes on many notorious labels, like Miguel Migs’ Salted Music, Brown Eyed Boyz, Inland Knight’s Drop Music, Amenti, Lowdown, Blockhead, Conya, Eight Dimension, Look At You, So Sound and many more, he has gained support from an incredible variety of mainstream djs, from Hernan Cattaneo, Dimitri from Paris, Laurent Garnier or Mark Farina, to Grant Nelson, Luke Fair, Aki Bergen, Fred Everything, Hipp-e or The Inland Knights…They have all used Jay’s flavor to rock their dancefloors.

His dj sets, always fun, original and full of deepness and funk, have made thousands of people dance in some of the most important venues in the globe. He has been part of Miami’s Winter Music Conference in the last 7 editions, Creamfields Buenos Aires (One of the biggest festivals in the world, gathering 60.000 people), South American Music Conference (where he worked as a panelist directing production workshops and seminars), and many more.

Through the last couple years he got to share stages with acts as big as Frankie Knuckles, Deep Dish, Erick Morillo, Massive Attack, Roger Sanchez, Steve Lawler, Dave Seaman, Gorillaz, Dj Dan, Green Velvet, Pete Tong or Mark Farina amongst many others.

He also started his own label, Candy Music which features disco-infused, deep, tech and always groovy beats oriented to move dancefloors all over the globe. Candy’s roster also includes great talent like Alexander East, Atnarko, Harold Heath, Daniel Kyo, Random Soul, Da Sunlounge, Jesus Gonsev, Neighbour, Kirby, Deep Mariano, Christian Malloni or Manuel Sahagun.

Jay West is only one of the names this Argentinian born self-tought musician uses, in 2007 one of his collaboration projects exploded and gained world respect after a strike of releases in labels like Peng, Agave, Alphabet, Eight Tracks, Pilot and Candy Music. The Candy Dealers quickly became a household name in the underground house scene remixing artists as big as The Rurals, Gala or Nego Mozambique (His collaboration “We come for the people” was one of the most played tracks in the 2009 WMC).
